COMICON COSPLAY

  1. Every year's Comicon produces a new batch of enthusiastic people who make their own costumes. Some really good ones this year! My daughters, Kellie and Leia met up with the Oncler, one of their favorite characters from the Lorax.

Probably without a doubt, one of the best exhibits I've seen at Comicon would have to be Tim Burton's FRANKENWEENIE. They created a display with several of the actual sets used in the film! Absolutely beautiful!!!

SAN DIEGO COMICON 2012!!!!!! It was AWESOME!!!! We had a great time so take a gander at what we saw and what we did!

Doing what I do........

Mike Doria, good friend and avid sportswriter out of Madison, Wisconsin, does his yearly pilgrimage to Venice Beach where we all meet for an ale or two at the Waterfront Cafe.  Sunsets are always phenomenal!

A cool couple I met tonight at the Sunset Terrace. A happy couple! Gotta love 'em!

Here's the AMC Burbank 16 where we see most of our Boy Nite movies. Across from the theater is an apartment complex.

Another great boys night this past Friday. We went to see "Ted" at the AMC in Burbank and it was great seeing Al Zegler and Lorenzo Martinez, two of my old friends and fellow artists from Warner Animation. Nick Dubois gets the Good Samaritan award this week for taking Al into his home and looking after him in the face of his present disability. A real friend! I hit Barney's Beanery earlier for lunch and some sketching! Ted was funny as I expected!
